One of the more compelling Dogman or possible werewolf sightings occurred in Bradenton, Florida, in June of 2020. Shyunique Legacy was live-streaming on Facebook, when what looked like a werewolf suddenly darted through his yard.
Oddly enough, the whole point of the livestream was to discuss an earlier sighting.
He was discussing his second sighting, which he originally posted photos of the creature on his Facebook profile.
Legacy recounted seeing something out in the trees of his backyard previously. He was showing a live audience that the photo he posted earlier was taken in his yard, when the somewhat spectral-like beast made its presence known in real-time.
“This is my backyard,” Legacy narrates while aiming the camera outside, the yard fills the frame. The scene seems pretty normal, just a bunch of grass and a wooden fence, with no sign of anything spooky. He continues talking and zooming in on the tree line in the distance. It’s almost pitch black back there, how he ever noticed movement in the first place is impressive.
But then, out of nowhere, a large blur of movement shoots out. A dark, shadowy figure streaks across the illuminated grassy area, leaving him completely terrified. He slams his door shut, completely ‘nope’s out’, and says a prayer to himself.
This makes three werewolf / dogman encounters on this property.
The first sighting occurred while taking out the trash. Legacy said he came face to face with what he described as a “little werewolf looking thing,” that was just as stunned as he was by the encounter. The werewolf looking thing we see on the livestream, is not by any means, little. Unless it changes sizes, he has a family of these things living in his woods.
The smallest member of the pack was standing just outside the back door by a garbage bag, as if planning to go through it. At first it looked like a little black shadow with pointy ears the size of a 6-year old kid. Then it opened its eyes, which were big and yellow.
The second sighting was the same day as the live stream: June 8 2020.
He was chatting on the phone while looking off into the distant woods when he noticed movement. While he couldn’t make anything out for certain, he thought he caught a glimpse of a man watching him. Something told him to start taking pictures.
While continuing his call as if nothing were wrong, he started simultaneously snapping photos with his smartphone. Upon reviewing them later he discovered there was something watching him from the darkened tree line, and it didn’t look human.
In a second live stream, Legacy is in quite a bit of denial about what occurred during the previous live session. He insists the large shadowy figure had to have been a “light from a car” and it was different from the thing he saw in the woods earlier that day.

He tells us the man-animal in the picture was across a ditch, so a bit further away. The figure in the live stream however, was in front of the ditch and much closer to him.
When taking still photos earlier that evening. He thought he saw a man… roughly 5 ‘9 but as the series of photos progressed it turned into a man with more animalistic features and became as staggering 9 or 10 feet tall. He also noticed it was turning – you could see its profile, as if it were turning to walk away.
From his point of view (in person) the “thing” in the live video looked like it had skin, or as he put it, “The light looked like it was running and it looked like it had f-ing skin, human skin, pink f-ing skin.”
A friend of his shared her encounter a couple months later
Months later a friend came to him and said… she saw something tall, black, furry, it stood higher than her gate. It had yellow eyes. It just stood there and stared at her. She quickly moved in the opposite direction. It wouldn’t take its eyes off her, nor would she take her eyes off it until completely out of range.
It appears the full moon in June of 2020 occurred on Friday, June 5th.
The date on the livestream is June 8, 2020. If werewolf lore is to be trusted, that would mean this hulking beast could very well be a werewolf. This would have been the third and final night of the full moon. On the other hand, the family pack (with a child) aspect has more of a Dogman vibe to it. Only due to the myths of lycanthropy coming from a curse or infection. Whereas Dogmen/women are simply another species. No curses, viruses or shapeshifting… just animals existing and presumably engaging in good old fashioned breeding. Who knows maybe they’re neither, just shapeshifters who prefer wearing wolfie skins.
