April 14 and 15, 1912, (109 years ago today) the RMS Titanic sank during its maiden voyage. The heartbreaking tragedy went on to become one of the most famous in modern history. The Titanic has inspired numerous books, films, and musicals… it’s also become the subject of quite a few ghost stories!
Take a look below at some of the only remaining pieces of genuine footage taken of the Titanic prior to it sinking. There aren’t any spectral images featured in it, however, the footage is still haunting in its own way.
